In describing her immense passion for the subjects that she paints, artist Gloria Clifford remarks: “One of the greatest joys in my life is knowing that my paintings are being used for a greater purpose and that they bring happiness to others. The opportunity to use my art to aid in the conservation of endangered species has been an amazing journey. I am so very thankful to have this God given talent and the ability to pursue a career that I truly love.”

Gloria Clifford, has loved the ocean and tropical places since childhood. As a professional painter, she uses a brilliant color palette to capture the attention of her viewing audience. Gloria's extensive series of OCEAN and RAIN FOREST paintings bring public awareness to many endangered and seriously threatened species. Her rainbow colored images of ocean reefs and paintings of sea turtles specifically, continue to bring public awareness to the ocean and to its creatures. She is also well known for her beautiful depictions of exotic birds as well as the plants and flowers living within tropical rain forests. The artist's paintings continue to delight those who love and protect these gorgeous and wonderful creatures living within their natural habitats.

A percentage of all OCEAN THEMED “ORIGINALS” and “FINE ART PRINT” sales received by this artist will be donated to ocean conservation as her very personal commitment of “giving back” to our severely threatened ocean environment. She is hopeful that others will join in this worthwhile cause.

Shows & Representation

As a seasoned artist, Gloria Clifford's paintings have been shown in numerous galleries and National juried competitions along the East Coast; her work has been collected by extensive tropical art lovers across the country. She has also been asked to show her colorful works of art as the “Featured Artist” in prestigious galleries that extend far beyond her personal hometown studio/gallery location.

Several of the artist’s tropical bird images have on two occasions been advertised in “Bird Talk Magazine” and images by this artist were formerly licensed to a West Coast tile manufacturer, Pacifica Tile Art, for their use within the home décor industry. Gloria currently has ocean and rain forest images which are currently licensed in the home décor arena, with new products being introduced to the buying public in the Spring of 2012.
