Gloria Clifford ~ About the Artist

"Native Virginian, Gloria Clifford, has loved the tropics for most of her adult life. As a professional artist, she paints the bright and colorful images of tropical plants, animals and birds in order to help to educate others about endangered species. Gloria hopes that by painting subjects such as dolphins, sea turtles, flamingos, macaws, toucans and many other species that she will help to preserve these wonderful animals for future generations. Formerly living in the Florida Keys, the artist studied many of her subjects while living in the tropics.

Gloria has been invited and shown her art in the past in galleries along the East Coast and most recently in the Florida Keys as a featured artist. She has also shown her work in Charleston, Myrtle Beach and many Virginia galleries over the years while living there. Her bird images were featured in "Bird Talk" magazine and four of her paintings were made into tile products licensed to a West Coast company for use in the home. Collectors of Gloria's beautiful works of art have told her on numerous occasions that her paintings make them feel unbelievably happy. She states that "one of the greatest joys in her life is knowing that her paintings bring joy to the lives of others!"
